Nip + Fab Eye Fix

Nip + Fab is a new clinically tested range of skincare and cosmetics by Rodial creator Maria Hatzistefanis. Offering similar products that help to target the likes of cellulite, wobbly tummies and delicate nipples, the one big difference between the two companies is not to be found in quality but price.

I was sent to try Eye Fix - a creamy concealer packed full of hyaluronic acid, cooling cucumber extract and softening glycerin. Presented in a sleek, white plastic twist pen, the light reflective particles contained within the formula put this product in a league of that to rival Touche Eclat.

Dispensing generously from the built in brush, Eye Fix works as a 2-in-1 concealer and cream. Whilst the cosmetic formula covers any dark circles on the skin, the plumping ingredients get to work at filing in fine lines whilst reducing signs of puffiness. The product texture itself is silky smooth and incredibly easy to blend.

My eyes repeatedly suffer in the winter due to severe eczema. Whilst I load them up with creams to reduce the main effects, the general area is inevitably both more sensitive and dry. I found Nip + Fab to be non-irritable against my delicate under eye, yet the concealer did settle into the slightly more noticeable areas of cracked skin. Offering around 6 hours of well pigmented coverage, Eye Fix visually lifts the face and provides an instantly more wide-awake appearance. I would definitely say this offers more concealment than Touche Eclat, but perhaps not as much light reflection.

Priced at £9.95 for 2ml, Nip + Fab are 100% successful in their quest for offering high end cosmetics at purse friendly prices. Eye Fix is a clever concealer and wears wonderfully well - even on dried out eczema prone skin. My only grumble though is with the lack of colour range. Whilst the product sheers out and adapts beautifully to my skin tone when applied, I think a trio of light, medium and dark shades would be hugely appreciated by the mass market.

Nip + Fab Eye Fix is available from boots.com plus nipandfab.com for £9.95
