Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Mascara

Ok. So we know this mascara has been out for months, but we're still not entirely "getting" it.

Max Factor's Lash Extension Effect has been picking up beauty awards left, right and centre - yet we still can't feel anything but sheer boredom when we pick it up. It's one of those products we use simply because we paid for it; not because we love it.

On paper theres nothing wrong with it; it lengthens, it doesn't clump and it gives a solid days wear. Yet at no point during application do we actually feel any real level of enjoyment. The wand feels stiff, the formula feels thin and the tube feels dull. We really hoped we'd grow to love this product, yet our feelings just aren't shifting.

Max Factor mascaras are some of our favourites and just like it's aunts and uncles Lash Extension sure as hell gives a jolly good result. We just wish it had a bit more 'Oomph' to it; right now it feels like the beautiful shy girl at school who the boys never notice.

We're sure most of you out there have this in your make up bag already.

Hell, you probably have tens of mascaras that failed to "grab" you!
